SARAH-JANE   ST CLAIR

 
 

Following her passion for physical performance Sarah-Jane St Clair has studied drama at Queensland University with the founders of Zen Zen Zo, at The Australian Film and TV Academy, Sydney University, Practical Aesthetics Australia and has also studied ballet and performing arts at Danceworld 301 in Melbourne.


Graduating from VCA in 2005, she has performed in East at La Mama in 2006 and at The Seymour Centre as part of the 2008 BITE season, the Green Room Award nominated Kissy Kissy with The Black Lung Theatre Company in Melbourne and at the Adelaide Fringe Festival.


In 2009 she performed in London as part of Steve Sidwell’s gala opening of the new Heathrow Terminal and with Draw Pictures for the Elliot Minor filmclip. Most recently she has appeared in Neighbours, internet series Forget the Rules, St Kilda Film Festival Award winning short, The Girl in the Moon and White Box Production’s Love Song at The Darlinghurst Theatre. Last year she played Porcelina in Gregory Perano’s Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere.


In 1998 Sarah- Jane represented Australia at the Miss World Pageant. She is currently workshopping an adaptation of Goethe’s Zur Farbenlehrer to be performed at a festival in Berlin next year.
